About the Role:

Working closely with multiple teams across the organization, the Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to form a unified team committed to ensuring the successful execution of data collection and delivery projects for our utility customers. As the Project Manager, your responsibilities will span across all phases of the project lifecycle, entailing meticulous planning, precise scheduling, effective communication, and comprehensive reporting. Your proficiency in communication, both internally and externally, coupled with an attention to detail, will be critical for navigating the intricate complexities of this project.

In your role as Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

Client Communication:

Maintain consistent communication with the client throughout the project lifecycle. Keep the client updated on project progress. Collaborate with client to identify scope changes and shot sheet adjustments. Address any concerns or inquiries promptly. Ensure final deliverables meet client expectations.

Scope Planning and Coordination:

Work closely with the Planning team to develop comprehensive planning and coordination of the project scope. Coordinate and optimize flight schedules with the Field Management team and planners. Collaborate with Lead Pilots to identify the production teams. Proactively work with planners to identify scope 2-3 weeks in advance to optimize crew accommodations and reduce travel time to scope. Liaise with the Equipment team to ensure timely availability and placement of field equipment. Work closely with the Data Delivery team to guarantee seamless data delivery.

Budget Management

Manage the project's budgetary aspects, including estimating project costs and tracking expenses. Update S-curve to assess project trajectory. Provide clients with projections of future production numbers. Track pilot production figures and share insights with Lead Pilots. Update Earned Value metrics to measure project performance against budgetary goal

Risk Management

Systematically identify potential risks that could impact project success. Conduct thorough risk assessments and brainstorming sessions with the project team, analyzing historical data and leveraging industry best practices to identify and document possible risks.

Team Management

Manage a team of Lead Pilots, who each manage a team of Drone Pilots, providing them leadership and mentorship and ensuring uniformity in practices, standards, and safety. Monitor and enhance team morale, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance to motivate and retain top talent. Other managerial responsibilities, including but not limited to, timesheet review and approval, time off request review and approval, and conducting regular one-to-one meetings to provide feedback, discuss performance and address individual career development plans.

Job Requirements:

2+ years of experience in the UAS industry 1+ years of people management experience, remote and/or dispersed team management experience preferred 1+ years of project management experience Client relationship management experience Proficiency in data management and analysis, including overseeing data collection, processing, and reporting Strong technical understanding of UAS data collection process and procedures Strong communication skills with both internal and external team members Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources efficiently Demonstrated success in managing projects from initiation to completion Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to resolve conflicts professionally and constructively Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing project requirements, unforeseen obstacles, and evolving priorities Bonus Experience:

Experience or background in photography, image processing and data management, including data entry, Excel and databases Experience with or background knowledge of GIS systems Prior work in the utility industry Additional Details:

Eligibility to live and work in the US with high fluency in English. Passport recommended to be able to visit our headquarters in Edinburgh, Scotland Valid Driver's License required Ability to access the Littleton office on a regular basis and when required This role requires an estimated 20% travel commitment The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle check, and reference check during the onboarding process.
