State Fund is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor, Systems (Associate) who will assist in completing data analytics requests, and develop Computer Analytic and Audit Techniques (CAAT) used for the completion of routine and risk-based audits, investigations, continuous auditing, including reporting findings and recommendations.

The Associate is responsible for assisting in complex data analytics projects. They will also have the opportunity to lead semi-complex data analytics projects and gain experience working with State Fund data.

In this role you will:

• Design data analytics solutions for our Internal Audit Department (IAD). • Provide technical support for IAD's Content Management System (CMS) and data analytics applications. • Coordinate and oversee upgrades to CMS and data analytics applications' infrastructure. • Develop reports from CMS and/or data analytics applications.

We are seeking an individual with general knowledge in:

• Presenting the meaning behind the data to stakeholders. • Providing quality customer service in a timely manner. • Maintaining source documents that are complete, retrievable, and verifiable. • Ensuring data collected for a project is sufficient, accurate, reliable, and relevant.

Our ideal candidate has the following skills:

• Proficiency writing SQL, Python, Power BI, and ACL queries for data analysis. • Proficient working knowledge of project management principles and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • General knowledge of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

Telework may be available and is subject to change based on State Fund guidelines and business needs, nevertheless, this position will regulary attend in-person office meetings. Hiring locations would be Sacramento, Vacaville, and Pleasanton
