Job Description:

Our client is seeking a seasoned Bookkeeper/Finance Manager/Comptroller to oversee financial and administrative functions critical to their business operations. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for managing insurance, workers' compensation, liability, 401(k), payroll processing, and other essential tasks. This role requires a versatile individual who can wear multiple hats and demonstrate proficiency in financial management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Manage insurance policies, including workers' compensation and liability coverage. Oversee 401(k) administration and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Process payroll accurately and timely, including cutting checks and wiring funds to employees. Handle administrative tasks related to financial operations and business management. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and income statements. Maintain meticulous records and documentation for tax purposes. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to financial management and compliance. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). 10+ years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial management. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. Strong understanding of general liability, audits, and business licensing requirements. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information. Must be able to work in-office.
