Junior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Junior Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Sacramento, CA. This position is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will have both accounts payable and accounts receivable experience. The role will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organization and gaining valuable experience in the field of accounting.
Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a regular basis. Process and verify invoices, expenses, and other financial transactions. Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Previous internship or entry-level accounting experience is a preferred. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
Experience: 2 years of accounting experience (Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk) Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Pay Details:
$24.00 to $28.00 per hour
