Job Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Detail Oriented Customer Service Representative in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The selected candidate will be tasked with handling customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and managing customer accounts, among other duties in a detail-oriented office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Accurately enter and process orders and returns from customers, using our internal systems
• Handle inbound calls, addressing concerns related to order fulfillment, billing issues, product problems, and general client concerns
• Provide outbound calls when necessary to follow up on issues and provide resolution
• Keep customer information in the customer service database up to date
• Collaborate with the leadership team to stay informed about product knowledge and any changes in company or departmental policies
• Contribute to additional tasks as assigned by management and participate in all required meetings and training
• Work on managing ticket queues effectively and efficiently to comply with current guidelines
• Ensure accurate and timely communication regarding order status.
• Demonstrated experience in efficiently and effectively handling inbound calls.• Previous experience in a customer service role within a call center.
• Exceptional customer service skills, showcasing empathy, patience, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in data entry, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in managing email correspondence, responding promptly to customer inquiries.
• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with the ability to draft detail-oriented correspondence.
• Experience in order entry, processing customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Ability to schedule appointments, coordinating across different time zones if necessary.
