DescriptionWe are on the lookout for a highly driven Controller to be a part of our team, based in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The Controller will be expected to manage all accounting functions, devise financial strategies, and assure adherence to regulations while providing valuable insights to propel business decisions. Responsibilities:• Develop and implement financial strategies in partnership with senior leadership.• Oversee all operations related to accounting, which includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.• Execute the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes effectively.• Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring their accuracy.• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulatory requirements.• Manage the treasury functions and cash flow to maintain the financial health of the business.• Apply process improvement and creative problem-solving skills in controllership duties.Requirements• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar role• Proven expertise in Process Improvement strategies• Demonstrated skill in Creative Problem Solving techniques• Solid background in Controllership and related financial practices• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, preferred• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills• Proficiency in using financial software and Office Suite• Excellent communication and leadership skills• Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred• Ability to collaborate with different departments and coordinate financial planning• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and forecasting.Job typePerm
