The ideal candidate will manage various real estate matters, provide expert legal advice, and represent clients in transactions and disputes. Duties and Responsibilities: Handle real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases, and financings. Prepare and review real estate documents such as deeds, leases, purchase agreements, and closing documents. Conduct due diligence, including title searches and reviewing property records. Client Representation: Advise clients on real estate matters, including zoning, land use, and property development. Represent clients in real estate disputes, including litigation and arbitration. Legal Research and Document Preparation: Conduct legal research to support real estate transactions and disputes. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to real estate. Compliance and Regulatory Matters: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations. Advise clients on regulatory issues and assist with obtaining necessary permits and approvals. Client Interaction and Case Management: Maintain effective communication with clients to provide updates and obtain necessary information. Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent and clear communication. Requirements: 1-6 years of experience in real estate law. Strong understanding of real estate transactions, zoning, land use, and property development. Experience conducting due diligence, preparing and reviewing real estate documents, and handling real estate disputes. Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively. Education and Certifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the Massachusetts State Bar. Skills: Proficiency in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts and agreements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client communication and team collaboration. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
