Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in board-level design for medical devices or other high-reliability systems.
- Strong knowledge of signal integrity and high-speed circuit design principles.
- Expertise in PCB design, layout, and fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in tools like Altium, Cadence, or equivalent for schematic capture and PCB design.
- Familiarity with IEC 60601-1 standards, EMC compliance, and other medical device regulations.
- Experience with design validation, including signal integrity simulations and analysis.
- Experience with power management circuits and analog/digital mixed-signal design.
- Background in DFMEA, risk analysis, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Understanding of wireless communications and low-power design.
- Familiarity with medical device development lifecycle, including ISO 13485 compliance.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools for data acquisition and analysis.
