Program Specialist 2 - Enrollment Support Services SALARY:$43,716 - $49,116 LOCATION: Lynnwood, Washington DESCRIPTION: This position plays a key role in supporting applicants and current students throughout the enrollment process, enhancing student access, success, and retention. This position proactively reaches out to self-identified adult learners, those from diverse or non-traditional backgrounds and other special populations to provide guidance on enrollment processes, available programs, and pathways tailored to career mobility and advancement. Additionally this position will provide assistance with admissions, records maintenance, financial aid support, and other general administrative tasks. Responsibilities include providing personalized customer service via various communication methods, processing registration documents, and addressing student issues with empathy and professionalism. This is a permanent full-time classified position reporting to the Associate Dean/Assistant Registrar of Admissions and Enrollment Services. This position is open until filled. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide direct service at the Enrollment Services front counter and on the phone. Using excellent customer service skills, guide new students through the admission and assessment process, perform registration functions, provide general financial aid assistance, provide information on programs and services, receive and route requests for information, and provide direction and referral. Back-up for answering registration emails. Identify and recommend changes to policies/procedures for improved customer service and continuous operational improvement. Handle confidential information in compliance with FERPA regulations. Proactively support applicants in completing enrollment steps through email, phone, virtual meetings, and in-person sessions. Support to Adult Learners by proactively reaching out to self-identified adult learners to provide guidance on enrollment processes, available programs, and pathways tailored to career mobility and advancement.
