Level 1 Desktop Technician

Our client has a brand new opportunity for a Level 1 Desktop Technician to join their team onsite in Lakewood, CO. This resource will provide day to day local \ remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, and answer questions.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts

Provide adds, moves, and change services, software imaging

Perform inventory tracking and control

Provide first level contact and service resolution for customer requests

Provide timely communication on work assignment status and resolution
-
Maintain ticket updates for all reported service requests
-
Use scripted instructions to install Windows 10 and Microsoft Office, Cisco Jabber, and other desktop office productivity applications

Perform install and upgrade for printers, computer hardware

Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers
-
Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment

Effectively determine priorities and meet SLA's
Skills and Qualifications:
-
CompTIA A+ certfication
-
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and MS Office 365

Working knowledge of PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, ticketing systems

Basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio / Visual, and Telecom equipment to perform Smart Hands services

Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and internal customer service skills

The ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork

Adaptable and flexible in a fast-changing industry and work environment

Willing to work off-hours and weekends when required for projects or emergency support
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
