Job Overview : A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Advice & Counsel Attorney to join its nationally recognized Labor & Employment team. The attorney will work closely with employers to provide counsel on a wide range of employment matters, including wage and hour issues, medical leave, accommodations, disciplinary actions, and terminations. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative, innovative environment, providing top-tier service to clients.

Duties:
Advise employers on employment law matters such as: Medical leave and accommodations
Wage and hour compliance
Disciplinary actions and terminations
Draft and revise employment policies, procedures, and agreements
Conduct workplace investigations
Collaborate with clients to develop solutions that mitigate risk and meet their legal needs
Requirements:
Minimum of four years of experience in labor and employment law, particularly in advising employers
Ability to independently research and analyze complex legal issues
Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills
Eager to work across different practice areas and deliver client-focused solutions
Experience with public entities or charter schools (preferred but not required)
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the California Bar (required)
Skills:
Expertise in employment law and employer counseling
Excellent legal research and drafting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to collaborate with a team and provide innovative solutions to clients
