Job Description
We are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Brooklyn Park, MN. If you enjoy wearing multiple hats, supporting leadership, and being a team player then this might be the job for you!
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently managing and scheduling meetings and appointments
• Overseeing the process of transitioning paper files into digital format
• Coordinating the posting of job positions and managing interview processes
• Handling the onboarding process for new employees
• Managing annual assessments for faculty and staff
• Assisting in office relocation within the same building
• Ensuring confidentiality and proper data practices
• Managing Purchase Orders (PO) for the group, including filing and posting in the system
• Taking meeting minutes for various committees
• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for various tasks including data entry, email correspondence, and schedule management
• Providing customer service including answering inbound and outbound calls.
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills, showcasing the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
• Experience in data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in email correspondence, demonstrating excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience in schedule appointments and calendar management, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• Experience in handling purchase orders, demonstrating knowledge of financial transactions.
• Ability to manage digital files, demonstrating a strong understanding of electronic data management.
• Experience with onboarding processes, showcasing a strong understanding of HR practices.
• Ability to create and manage job postings, demonstrating a familiarity with recruitment processes.
