Job Description:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Federal Program Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in driving additional revenue for our Federal Program. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and business development initiatives to maximize revenue retention and growth within the federal market.
Key Responsibilities:Sales Leadership:
Lead all sales activities aimed at generating additional revenue for the Federal Program.Establish and manage a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities, focusing on annual renewals of existing contracts, customers, and services.Drive expansion and upgrades to DC-Net products and services at existing customer sites to maximize new revenue and retain existing revenue.Develop and execute strategic and tactical sales activities to maximize annual revenue retention and growth.Lead the development of customer pricing proposals, solution designs, and contract documents from initial conception to customer signature.
Business Development:
Identify, negotiate, and manage business partnerships to create new and strategic revenue streams for the Federal Program.Cultivate relationships with commercial partners, including hardware companies, software companies, system integrators, VARs, and service providers operating in the federal market.Explore opportunities for collaboration with other government agencies operating in the federal market.
Marketing:
Lead the creation and execution of all marketing activities and programs associated with driving awareness and demand for the DC-Net Federal program across federal agencies.Participate in professional associations, interest groups, and industry events focused on federal market business.
Product Management:
Identify and lead the development of new products and services aligned with high-growth, high-demand opportunities in the federal market, such as affordable MTIPS programs and managed zero trust offerings.
Service Delivery:
Oversee the successful onboarding of all new federal MTIPS customers, including managing design discussions, turn-up, acceptance testing, and coordination with relevant teams.Provide tier-1 support for existing MTIPS customers, including managing tickets, coordinating with the engineering team, and addressing billing issues.Conduct monthly invoice review and certification for MTIPS services.
Contract Administration:
Manage annual renewals for existing federal agencies, coordinate legal reviews, and resolve contract issues.Work with service provider carriers and procurement teams to process contract extensions, modifications, and life-cycle management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably focused in the federal market. A documented network of C-Level contacts across both Civilian Agencies, DoD Agencies, and Intel Agencies is highly desirable.Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships.Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and contract administration, including a comprehensive working knowledge of GSA GWACs (e.g., EIS) and Government IDIQ/BPA agreements (e.g., NASA SEWP).An extensive professional network of C-Level Federal Contractor contacts and relationships (e.g., Equipment Manufacturers, Software Manufacturers, VARs, Integrators, Service Providers) critical in positioning DC-Net as a valuable partner across multiple Federal Contractor ecosystems.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Documented experience with federal networking technologies and services is a plus, including MTIPS, Zero Trust.
Responsibilities:
Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.Manages teams of contract Support Personnel at multiple locations.Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
