This role is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to work for a large Developer, however, in a midsize team. This role has the opportunity to grow into a controller. This role will be working closely with CFO and major investment groups & Big 4 firms for audit and tax. You will have two direct reports.

Primary duties and responsibilities include the following:

Accounting:Record all accounting transactionsProcess accounts payable and maintain vendor records Process accounts receivable including posting of customer paymentsCode and route invoices received for approvalSet up invoices to be emailed or included in Project DrawsBalance Sheet management and reconciliations for all entitiesSupport CFO with the production of monthly Financial Statements.Investor reportingDevelopment Draw Requests:Assist CFO with the compilation of Monthly Draw Requests for each development projectEnsure timely funding and payment of all project costsUpdate project budgets in Sage Intacct as neededReconcile all Bank Accounts monthlyTaxes and Licenses:Assist with any Sales/Use Taxes requirements associated with development projects.Maintain W-9s, client data, and insurance certificates from vendors/subcontractors

Special Projects:

Work on additional ad-hoc projects and requests as needed

- Expert level proficiency in using QuickBooks or other related ERP

- Proficiency in MS Excel

- Knowledge of basic financial and accounting principles

Education and Experience:

- 5+ years clerical accounting experience

- 2+ years QB AR, AP, GL, Payroll, and Project Management

- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting - preferred
