Job Summary
Restore is seeking a highly qualified Purchasing Manager to own the procurement process, sourcing, and vendor relationships within the Supply Chain department. This role is pivotal in ensuring profitability and financial performance and will directly report to the Senior Director, Supply Chain. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in strategic planning, vendor management, negotiation, and advanced cost analysis skills.
Responsibilities
Ensuring profitability goals are met within the department
Forecasting forward view of purchases and profitability
Identifying opportunities for new medical vendors, and onboarding these
Control vendor performance evaluation, negotiating terms and managing contracts to optimize terms, contributing directly to department profit and loss.
Responsible for mentoring a team in the medical purchasing function.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions, executing contingency plans that safeguard financial interests.
Ensure strict adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to procurement processes, establishing our department as a model of compliance.
Continuously seek opportunities for the enhancement of procurement processes, leveraging technology tools, and streamlining workflows to optimize financial performance.
Take charge of ad-hoc sourcing requests
Execute comprehensive pricing analysis and deliver recommendations, contributing directly to financial success.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Significant experience in purchasing, supply chain, or buying roles – Minimum of 4+ years,
Healthcare background preferred
Proven people management experience – required
Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills required
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in G Suite
Experience using Netsuite preferred, but not required – Familiarity with financial software is advantageous, but not essential.
