IT Support Specialist (2nd Shift)Hybrid
We are seeking a skilled and customer service-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our client's technical support team on the 2nd shift from 11am to 8pm. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting computer systems, software, and hardware for our employees.
Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and professional support to internal employees via phone, email, remote assistance, and in-person for a wide range of technical issues
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system problems
Document and track all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system
Set up new computer equipment and perform software installations/upgrades
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company systems, applications, and technologies
Assist with the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and training materials
Escalate complex issues to senior support staff or external vendors as needed
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a corporate environment
Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office suite, and common business applications
Experience with network administration, Active Directory, and remote support tools
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work 2nd shift hours from 11am to 8pm
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting macOS and Linux systems
Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Bash)
CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications
