Job Summary

Collaborates with marketing managers, University Information Technology Services (UITS) web team, content creators, and leads a team of skilled webmasters. Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the webmaster team, ensuring seamless coordination of multiple ongoing projects. Instrumental in optimizing web pages, ensures pages are user-friendly, visually captivating, and maintain a strong presence in search engine results. Additionally, oversees the webmaster ticketing system to guarantee timely task completion and quality control, meticulously tracks and reports team productivity, and provides invaluable analytics insights to elevate our online presence.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Provides leadership, guidance, and performance management to a team of webmasters, ensuring a cohesive and productive work environment2. Oversees the planning, building, execution, and completion of web-related projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and timelines3. Supervises the creation, maintenance, and optimization of websites, ensuring they meet design and functionality standards4. Coordinates the creation and management of web content, ensuring it is accurate, relevant, and up to date5. Stays informed about emerging web technologies, trends, and best practices6. Provides technical guidance to the team and make decisions on technology adoption7. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, content creators, and UITS, to ensure seamless integration of web initiatives with overall business strategies8. Monitors website performance metrics and analytics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance user experience9. Fosters the professional growth of webmasters through training programs, skill development initiatives, and performance reviews10. Prioritizes and implement strategies to enhance the overall user experience on websites, improving usability and accessibility11. Facilitates effective communication within the team, department leadership, and with stakeholders12. Provides regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes13. Addresses and resolve technical issues, bugs, and other challenges that may arise during website development and maintenance14. Implements quality assurance processes to ensure that websites meet established standards and are free of errors15. Oversees and manages the webmaster ticketing system ensuring tickets are completed on time and correctly16. Regularly provides reporting on SEO performance metrics, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights to achieve desired search engine ranking goals17. Provides regular reporting on webmaster productivity, project updates, ticket system, and website analytics

Required Qualifications

Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Computing, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or another data-driven field.

Required ExperienceFive (5) years of related experience in website management including supervisory experience
