This position is located at either Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO, supporting the DevSecOps (DSO) Product Team.Program Information
The C2BMC National Team provides technical solutions to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Contract. C2BMC is the integrating element for the Ballistic Missile Defense System and links various sensors and weapon systems. The system provides capabilities to integrate and synchronize missile defense systems and operations, providing a layered defense against multiple ranges of threats and in all phases of flight.Technical Skills
Experience with Linux or Windows System AdministrationScripting skills in languages such as bash or PowerShellExperience with automationPreferred Qualifications
Knowledge of DevSecOps principlesExperience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible TowerExperience with HashiCorp Packer and VaultExperience with Gitlab CI/CDExperience with NexusExperience in virtualization technology, including, but not limited to, VMwareUnderstanding of HP server configurationCompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II CertificationBackground Experience Required
Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools. Must be responsible to work independently / solo at times on large projects, at other times will be in a collaborative team environment with other DevSecOps engineers, as well as other program development and deployment teams.Position Responsibilities
The selected candidate will support the C2BMC DevSecOps team to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability. The candidate will assist in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program. We are working with the leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower and Nexus Pro).Work on systems administration related issues with hardware and software for different network environments.Support deployment of custom software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software.Propose system administration process improvement to reduce overall maintenance requirements by working with the design team and manufacturers.Determines systems requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system configuration.Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.Develops and recommends corrective actions.May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.Security Clearance Required: SecretBlackstone Talent Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Blackstone Technology Group, a global IT services and software firm that implements technological solutions across commercial industry verticals and the US Federal Government.
