They are partnered exclusively with Macdonald & Co. to appoint a Multifamily Development Executive to lead their recent venture into ground-up multifamily development.We are seeking a Vice President of Real Estate Development to join an established and growing team that has a robust land acquisitions team and dedicated local and regional construction partners. The VP of Real Estate Development will be responsible for executing and delivering multifamily projects across Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. The successful candidate will oversee the entire development process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role does not require sourcing deals.Key Responsibilities:Project Management:
Oversee all phases of multifamily development projects from inception to completion, including planning, design, construction, and delivery.Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of development professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Budget and Scheduling:
Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring adherence to financial and timeline objectives.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and standards.Quality Control:
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the development process to deliver superior products.Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, contractors, engineers, and government officials, to ensure seamless project execution.Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues proactively.Reporting:
Provide regular updates to the EVP of Operations and group’s Executive Committee on project status, financial performance, and key milestones.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
