The Office Assistant will provide routine office support for staff and faculty. The ideal candidate will be very familiar with Excel, possess the ability to work independently following training, and have a strong work ethic.Responsibilities
Answers department’s main phone line, and provides general information.Receives, sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn new software systems.Ability to take initiative and work independently.Helps with additional clerical and office support duties as needed.Greets and directs visitors to appropriate persons or office in a friendly manner.Minimum Qualifications
Applicant must possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively through written and verbal means, be outgoing, self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, and organized. Ability to comfortably work with others and maintain confidentiality. Foundational knowledge base of personal financial issues, topics, and concepts is a plus.Special Instructions Summary
