Job Overview:

The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in translating and aligning market needs with our core competency in amine manufacturing. This position is essential in identifying unique value propositions for amines in the oilfield market, leveraging our strengths, and driving business growth through strategic development and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:Identify unique value propositions (UVP) for amines in the oilfield market.Leverage the strengths of our Verbund to address market needs.Translate unmet market needs into development priorities for the R&D team, including the creation and continued review of related business cases.Develop and steer the launches of products and new technologies, defining value propositions and pricing approaches.Support the sales organization with customer visits and build relationships with customers.Lead the efforts of our Oilfield Chemicals for customer teams, representing the company in industry networks and building relationships with decision-makers along the value chains.Work with Communications to develop customer presentations, marketing materials, and brand management for the portfolio.Provide analyses, marketing tools, digital solutions, and optimal use of business processes to support the commercial and leadership team.Drive initiatives to full completion, ensuring execution in compliance with project timelines and safety and regulatory requirements.Provide market intelligence and analysis to support the Business Line Manager and Global Product Manager regarding competitive activities, market needs, and outlook.Requirements:

Education:Bachelor of Science Degree in a related scientific discipline (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, Physics).Master of Science Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or another Physical Science preferred.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oilfield industry or chemical manufacturing.Experience in amine technology, corrosion inhibition, or H2S scavengers is considered an asset.Skills:Strong proficiency in customer relationship management.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to translate market needs into strategic development priorities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in digital solutions and business process optimization.Key Competencies:Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.Strategic thinking and execution.Strong leadership and team collaboration.Effective project management and compliance with regulatory requirements.Market intelligence and competitive analysis.Additional Information:Work environment: Office-based with potential travel requirements.Flexible work arrangements whenever possible.Benefits include Maternity/Paternity Leave, Infertility & Adoption reimbursement, Mentoring & Development Programs, and Employee Discounts.How to Apply:
