The Department of Public Health prioritizes equitable and inclusive access to quality healthcare for its community and values the importance of diversity in its workforce.The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH), Behavioral Health Services (BHS), Children, Youth, & Families System of Care (CYF SOC) oversees a continuum of care for children and youth (ages 0 -18 and up to 21) and their families.Under direction of the CYF Director, the Assistant Director oversees the Intensive Services & System Involved Portfolio, including direct oversight of intensive civil service clinics and a vast portfolio of intensive services contracted providers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Manages intensive services, child welfare, and juvenile justice related providers contracts & budget.Plans, monitors, evaluates, and supervises the work of multiple, complex and diverse programs and projects.Develops, implements and maintains procedures for effective service delivery.Adjusts plans and procedures to meet the needs of emerging programs.Assigns and monitors subordinates with job tasks and coaches to improve performance.Directs policy development and program planning.Fosters collaboration among sub-units and participates in service delivery system coordination.Communicates regularly with executive-level management regarding CYF SOC activities.Evaluates activities and provides large scale data analysis.Develops and implements policies to ensure high-quality clinical operation of the SOC.Assists in annual city budget preparation.Performs other duties as assigned.How to qualify

Required Minimum Qualifications:Experience:

Five (5) years of experience providing, overseeing, monitoring, or coordinating behavioral health services to children, youth, and families.Education:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.License:

Possession of a valid license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).Important Note:
