A law firm in San Rafael, CA, is seeking a dedicated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will manage a heavy litigation caseload, engage in transactional matters, and provide comprehensive legal support from initial court filings through trial. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to client service.Duties:Assist with heavy litigation caseload and transactional mattersManage cases from initial court filing through trialConduct client intake and consultationsMaintain heavy client contactAppear in court for various proceedingsHandle trials, arbitrations, and mediationsPerform legal research and writingDraft pleadings and manage law and motion activitiesPropound and respond to written discoveryCommunicate with opposing counsel, experts, and judicial officersUtilize legal software, including Clio, Box, Slack, Lawyaw, LexisNexis, CEB, Trellis, and ZoomRequirements:Active member of the California State Bar in good standing2-5 years of litigation experienceStrong organizational skillsEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Active California State Bar membershipSkills:Proficiency in legal research and writingStrong courtroom presence and litigation skillsExcellent client communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and priorities effectivelyFamiliarity with legal software and technology tools
