Environmental Litigation Attorney

A law firm specializing in environmental law seeks a motivated Environmental Litigation Attorney with 1-6 years of experience to join its team in Bala Cynwyd, PA. The ideal candidate will handle complex litigation related to environmental regulations and disputes.Duties:Represent clients in environmental litigation cases, including regulatory compliance, enforcement actions, and disputes.Conduct legal research and analysis on environmental laws, regulations, and precedents.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.Provide clients with legal counsel and strategic advice on environmental compliance and risk management.Collaborate with internal teams and experts to develop case strategies and solutions.Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods when applicable.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar; additional admission to other state bars is a plus.1-6 years of experience practicing environmental law, preferably in litigation.Strong understanding of federal and state environmental laws and regulations.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.Certifications:Certification in environmental law or related field (preferred but not required).Skills:Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Compensation:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
