Applicants are required to include in their cover letter information about how they will further this goal.Posting Summary:Provide university-wide leadership and strategic direction for five Enterprise Technology Services teams (consisting of about 30 positions total): classroom technology services, hardware repair, help line and carry-in-clinic, and multiple client support teams. Work closely with team supervisors, manage the departmental budget (in collaboration with the Administrative Business Service Center), plan services and organize service delivery modes and methods to meet the changing needs and priorities of clients, take advantage of new technologies, and respond to new challenges. In conjunction with the Chief Information Officer and other ETS Directors, play a key role in enterprise-level IT planning, policy initiatives and other collaborative work with university senior administrators, faculty, staff and governance groups. Work with vendors to identify needed IT products and services and resolve delivery problems. Maintain ties with professional organizations and peers at other institutions. Report to the Chief Information Officer.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field.7-10 years of experience in information technology management-level positions.Experience with diverse computing and information resource technologies.Understanding of emerging technologies and vision for their potential applications.Demonstrated ability to lead the definition of requirements, research and evaluation of options, and implementation of new information technology platforms, products and services.Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.Desirable Qualifications:Knowledge of Banner (student information system), PeopleSoft (finance and human resource enterprise systems) or similar enterprise systems in higher education environment.Anticipated Pay Range:

$140,000-$160,000Special Conditions:

A probationary period may be required. Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime). Background Check required for this position.FLSA:
