Summary:
A prestigious and dynamic plaintiff law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with 1-3+ years of litigation experience to join our Lemon Law Department. The Firm is one of Los Angeles's fastest-growing law firms specializing in claims under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (California Lemon Law). We are looking for enthusiastic candidates eager to take ownership of their own cases and who are not afraid of going to trial. Unlike other firms, we pride ourselves on taking our cases from start to trial if necessary.
This is an on-site role at the corporate office in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in lemon law cases and other related consumer protection matters.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents.Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.Handle court appearances and hearings when necessary.Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal professionals to achieve successful outcomes for clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-3 years of litigation experience, any practice area is acceptable.Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.Demonstrated track record of successful case outcomes and client representation.Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented and highly organized with a commitment to meeting deadlines.Tech-savvy with proficiency in legal research tools and software.Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
Benefits & Compensation:
Base Salary of $100k - $150k + (DOE)Bonus pay - up to $2,400 per month, if billables are met.Annual Bonus - Discretionary - $5,000 minimum is guaranteed.Platinum PPO Health insurance (All health insurance premiums are paid 100% by the firm).Bronze DPPO Dental insurance.Basic Vision insurance.401k - Eligible after 1 year - Firm will match contributions up to 4%.Paid time off.Holiday pay.
