Position Overview
Marcum Search is growing, and the IT Talent Team is looking for a full-time Technical Recruiter with at least 3 years of proven experience in finding talent as a Sourcer or Recruiter for technical full-time and consulting roles across the United States.
Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of Recruiting/Sourcing for IT direct hire positions in an agency, RPO or in-house setting.At least one year of agency or managed services experience.Strong understanding of technical terminology related to at least 3 of the following:Application, system and database development in a variety of languages.Desktop/network/system infrastructure and the different levels of support, including engineering and design/architecture and IT system administration roles.Recent and legacy AI, Data/BI and RPA technologies.Cyber and IT security.DW, Data Science, Data Architecture.QA, BA and PM/PMO.Very strong Boolean search skills to conduct deep dive searches on job boards and other platforms.Excellent, professional-level writing and verbal communication skills.ATS experience (PCRecruiter preferred) for recording searches, postings and the candidate lifecycle.Willingness to pick up the phone and cold call candidates; strong follow-up skills.Strong MS Word for resume formatting, solid editing/review skills.A successful track record of finding candidates/filling roles over the past 3 years.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience drafting and reviewing job descriptions based on meetings with clients and Sr. Account Team members.Using AI to create effective job descriptions and searches.Outlook calendaring skills for interview scheduling.Team mentorship/leadership.Ability to attend local events and meetings onsite.
