Ticket Sales Account Executive (Full Time Salary)

Summary
The Account Executive is a self-motivated individual that takes pride in relationship building and has an affinity for working with people to generate group and season ticket revenue. The role offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to inherit existing accounts and build their book of business and experience in the full menu of full and partial season ticket plans, group experiences, and hospitality (suites and party areas).
Reports to:
Director, Ticket Sales
ResponsibilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skillsProvide customer service to existing accounts by visiting with them during games, as well as provide business program amenities, and make phone calls during the season and off-season to ensure personalized, continual contactProspect for new leads for ticket package and group outing sales opportunities within and around the surrounding communityMaintain Database and add new leads to databaseCoordinate hospitality needs for customers with Operations and Catering departmentsActively promote the Aberdeen IronBirds within the community through networking, promotional community events, and business meetingsOther duties as assigned by Ticket Sales Director or club managementQualifications
A bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field1 - 3 years of previous sales experienceExceptional dedication to effective and timely communication and organizationProficient in Microsoft Office suiteAbility to work all games for a full season professional baseball team, including nights and weekends from April through September, and select off-season eventsPrevious internship in collegiate or professional sportsPrevious sales experience in a sales environment
