• Work with Club Manager to coordinate a weekly wine tasting (15 minutes) during pre-service• Assist in the management of the club by providing support and leadership• Play integral role in the hiring and training of all new staff• Assist in the daily maintenance including organization and restocking to ensure it is current, clean and organized• Reprint all wine lists and BTG daily and ensure micros, accubar, and wine lists are always current• Create and distribute all BTG descriptions prior to implementation• Constantly further your wine knowledge and that of your peers• Assist in the planning, organization and execution of all special wine events and promotions• Benchmark and provide innovation on product, training, organization and systems as they relate to not only wine service but the day to day operation of the club• Conduct monthly inventory working closely with wine director and accounting to resolve any inconsistencies with accounting in a timely manner• Ensure micros, and accubar are updated to reflect all changes prior to service• Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand• Will report for work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee handbook and further developed in the departmental rules• Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management and the established emergency plan• Comply with all policies and procedures of the Food and Beverage Department, The Little Nell and Aspen OneQualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent hotel/club/restaurant experience• 3 years in a fine dining establishment• Extensive wine knowledge (successful completion of advanced level of The Court of Master Sommeliers preferred)• Possess Excellent Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)• Comfortable presenting and speaking in public to large groups• Knowledge of food and cooking methods• Comprehend F&B finance models as they relate to pricing, inventory COGS, analysis and problem solving• Exude hospitality, possess a thirst for knowledge and a contagious sense of enthusiasm towards food and wineAdditional Information

Supervision Given and ReceivedGiven: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Received: Works under direct supervision of the Club Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently.
