JOB DESCRIPTION:

An opening for a Senior Office Manager at a prestigious law firm in San Francisco, California. The Senior Office Manager will interact with clients and customers, so a professional demeanor is paramount. This role will direct and maintain a productive work environment, prioritizing efficiency, organization, communication, and safety. As a key ambassador of company culture, the Senior Office Manager ensures employees have the tools and internal support they need while reinforcing policy. The ideal candidate is meticulously organized, flexible, and motivated by the idea of taking ownership of the team. This role needs to be flexible to support other departments as business needs arise with special projects or duties. The ability to keep all information confidential is an imperative requirement of this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing stellar service to clients, customers, and the team.

Purchasing (invoicing, documenting, and tracking).

Maintaining email systems, calendars, and file sharing systems (networks).

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.

Basic Management Experience - 2 years.

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years’ experience in administrative support or a related field.

Experience working in a law office.

Technically savvy with computers, tablets, and printers.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Strong analytical skills.

Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative.

Ability to gain confidence and respect from management and staff through attributes such as professionalism and a positive attitude.

Demonstrated organization and comprehension skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project Manager).

Position Summary:

This role plays a key part in the management of office services, supplies/inventory, facility management, and space issues for a large office property. May assume specific responsibilities in certain areas (e.g., management of leases and related information). Often supervises administrative staff in various roles (e.g., Administrative Assistants, Telephone Operations Reps, etc.).
