WHAT IS THE FACILITIES MANAGEMENT AND SECURITY SERVICES (FMSS) DIVISION?A description of the business units can be found at:Facilities Management and Security Services Operations WestFacilities Management and Security Services Operations EastFacilities Management and Security Services Operations Mid-AtlanticThe following are the duties of this position at the full working level:CUSTOMER SERVICE/SERVICE IMPROVEMENT:

Implements and monitors management control procedures in accordance with regulations and other appropriate guidance and direction, to ensure that adequate control systems are functional, so Government personnel and resources are safely and effectively managed. Provides support for the installation of countermeasures, including identifying and securing countermeasure placement utilizing the Interagency Security Committee (ISC) Standards.INCIDENT AND ASSESSMENT DOCUMENTATION:

The employee reviews, analyzes, and processes all incidents or threats reported to the Situational Awareness Management Center (SAMC) to detect incidents that may indicate predictive or actual insider threat activity based on Potential Risk Indicators (PRIs).PROJECT MANAGEMENT/IMPLEMENTATION:

Plans, schedules, and implements security projects in assigned areas, involving a small facility or a limited scope project in a large facility.DOCUMENTATION:

Uses technical expertise to complete written reports and briefing documents developed from site reviews and risk assessments.EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:

Coordinates emergency incidents to provide support to first responders and plans and conducts emergency drills.If this position has promotion potential and you are selected at a grade level lower than the full working level, you may be non-competitively promoted to more complex duties as your career progresses.Requirements

Federal experience is not required. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement

At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal Service.OR EDUCATION:

One (1) full year of graduate level education in a related field.OR
