Implements and monitors management control procedures in accordance with regulations and other appropriate guidance and direction, to ensure that adequate control systems are functional, so Government personnel and resources are safely and effectively managed. Provides support for the installation of countermeasures.INCIDENT AND ASSESSMENT DOCUMENTATION:

The employee reviews, analyzes, and processes all incidents or threats reported to the Situational Awareness Management Center (SAMC) in order to detect incidents that may indicate predictive or actual insider threat activity based on Potential Risk Indicators (PRIs).PROJECT MANAGEMENT/IMPLEMENTATION:

Plans, schedules, and implements security projects in assigned areas.DOCUMENTATION:

Uses technical expertise to complete written reports and briefing documents developed from site reviews and risk assessments.EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:

Coordinates emergency incidents to provide support to first responders.Requirements

To qualify for this position at this grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal Service.Specialized experience for this position includes experience that demonstrates basic knowledge of security program concepts, practices, policies, and procedures relating to Physical Security.OR EDUCATION:

You may qualify based on education as follows: One (1) full year of graduate level education (18 semester hours or 27 quarter hours) at an accredited college or university in a related field of study.OR

Superior Academic Achievement may be met by having a Bachelor's degree, with one of the following: A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for all completed undergraduate courses.Education
