The candidate must possess strategic visionary leadership skills to drive short- and long-term management of Event Sales and Event Planning. You will develop and maintain good relationships with Corporate Sales Events and the Marketing team. Perform as the driver of all sales revenue and ensure quarterly and annual revenue goals are achieved for the hotel. You will promptly reply to incoming leads, actively and aggressively solicit new catering customers, and identify key sales targets in all sectors. Evaluate each piece of event business to ensure it can be properly serviced and fits the strategic business needs of the property.Primary sales efforts are in Catering, Beverage, Room Blocks, and Meeting Room Rental. You must be able to communicate the services of the hotel to gain commitment from the customer. This position will provide best-in-class customer service to retain clients and encourage client referrals.Responsibilities include:Administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage, and A/V needs, managing room blocks, billing instructions, and final review.Develop sales action plans and forecast and evaluate trends to modify strategies that will enhance revenues effectively.Assist in the production of the annual hotel business plan as well as oversee the properties’ social media initiatives, working closely with the field marketing team.Evaluate each piece of event business to ensure it can be properly serviced and fits the strategic business needs of the property.Develop and maintain departmental budget by implementing effective marketing plans to generate catering revenues.Lead property revenue meetings, ensuring revenue maximization and profit in all areas.Timely submission of required reports to the General Manager, Regional Vice President, and Corporate Office.The Senior Sales and Events Manager is also the on-site contact and is responsible for the smooth execution of all events. Other essential duties include booking, selling, planning, and coordinating all catering events, ensuring sales system documentation both internal and external are current.This position allows for a Hybrid work schedule, allowing you to work from home as well as collaborating in-office based on business needs.Salary Range: $66,100 - $95,700
