POSITION SUMMARYThe Human Resource Generalist performs duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional levels: compliance, policy administration, benefits management and payroll functions.

Provide general HR support on all HR functionsAssists with employee relations issues as directedMonitors employee eligibility for benefit plansReviews benefits with employees, processes enrollments, cancellations and changesManages open enrollment and the benefit election process and verifies benefit billing accuracy and processes for paymentPerformance management as directedHR administrative tasks as neededAssists with policies and procedures and provides communication and clarification when neededCompletes monthly insurance invoice reconciliationsAdministers COBRA for group health plansCoordinates, plans and leads the monthly Safety Committee MeetingsMaintains all personal, medical and FMLA leavesManages Workers Compensation process, claims, treatment, time off, etc.Manages and distributes annual OSHA logsConducts monthly Welcome Aboard and Exit Interview calls/surveysPerforms additional duties as assignedSPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related fieldSHRM Certified Professional preferred, though not requiredThree to five years of HR Generalist experiencePHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSThis position requires travel up to 10% of the time.
