POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Training and Processes leads the Elmington Affordable Property Management portfolio to better onboard, train, and develop team members by providing ongoing opportunities to enhance, develop, and manage organization-wide strategies in processes and development. This individual will implement training programs and processes for ongoing support and development for the portfolio.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Create processes for property management functions and ensure usage across the entire portfolioDevelops people through effective performance management and ongoing feedback, focusing on fostering strategic and systems thinking, development of talent and succession planning across teams and disciplines.Analyze requirements and learning gaps, and develop a leadership development program, curricula, and content across the continuum of people managers (first time managers, mid-level managers, leaders of leaders).Design course content, learning activities, assignments, and assessments for leadership development and corporate individual contributors.Build and deliver leadership, management, and functional development trainings throughout the organization.Own all business processes related to our learning systems, including implementation, reporting, and adherence to required trainings.Develop instructor's manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools.Act as the primary Learning Management System administrator for leadership development and corporate individual contributor programs.Guide the team's learning programs and initiatives by identifying organizational needs, securing resources, communicating with senior stakeholders, and prioritizing work for the team. Strategic approach with the ability to work under pressure, navigate through ambiguity, and balance multiple priorities, defining and establishing new approaches as neededSPECIFIC EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree required/Master's degree preferred.3+ Years of experience in talent development with proven experience in building, developing, and refining impactful programs.3+ years of experience managing diverse teams across a variety of industries including but not limited to property management, non-profit, and construction.LIHTC experienceStrong analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving, decision-making, and performance measurement.Vetted program and project management skills, capable of ensuring execution excellence in dynamic, agile environments.Demonstrated ability to build trusted and productive working relationships with partners and stakeholders of all levels across the business.Elmington is comprised of multiple locations and lines of business that are operated as their own living, breathing corporation.
