If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.Holds conferences and negotiates issues with taxpayers/representative to resolve tax disputes in a fair and impartial manner.Advises and coaches team members regarding their team assignments.Communicates and fosters dialogue with peers, customers, and partners.RequirementsTelework Eligible Positions:

Employees must meet and sustain IRS telework eligibility requirements.Must be a U.S. Citizen or National and provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.Must successfully complete a background investigation, including a FBI criminal history record check.Employment of any candidate selected for this position may be conditional on classification and/or audit of federal tax returns.QualificationsFederal experience is not required. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-07:

You must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service.OR

One year of graduate education in a related field of study.OR

Superior Academic Achievement may be met by having a Bachelor's degree.OR

Combination of qualifying graduate education and experience equal to that described above.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-09:

You must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service.OR

Master's or equivalent graduate degree.OR

LL.B. or J.D. if related.OR

Combination of qualifying graduate education and experience equal to the amount required.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-11:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service.OR

You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-12:
