The Department of Exercise Physiology seeks applicants to teach an undergraduate course in the School of Health Sciences for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduates; developing and managing the class syllabus and ensuring that the syllabus meets department and university standards; planning and creating lectures, in-class discussions and assignments; grading assigned papers, quizzes and exams; assessing grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments and examinations; collaborating with colleagues on course curriculum; and advising students on how to be successful in class.Requirements and Preferences

Master’s degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, health education, nutrition or health-related discipline and two years of related teaching or experience at the university level; or equivalent combination of teaching, training and experience. This position requires a clear communicator; able to show confidence teaching and presenting to an undergraduate class. Must be technologically savvy with the ability to utilize email, e-learning and different online learning systems and other ways to communicate with students.Primary Responsibilities and Duties
