JOB SUMMARY

Note: Funding for this position is effective 10/01/2024

Reporting directly to a Director or CIO, responsible for setting project management standards, coordinating technology project efforts, and developing, managing, and executing various major technology projects for the Williamson County Technology Services Department.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED

Directs and leads various technology projects, including defining requirements and objectives, setting scope and timelines, and working with IT and department staff on project planningTracks and logs various reports related to project budget, spending, estimates and cost impact throughout project lifecyclesPrepares project documents and collaborates with internal and external professionals to draft and approve terms and conditions for specific projectsPerforms contract compliance by ensuring terms and conditions are metOversees and manages a variety of project budgets, schedules, work plans, and resource requirements for various technology projectsCompletes, reviews, and processes project change orders, milestone invoices, proposal documents, and various budget and financial reportsAssists division managers with developing and tracking projects - budgets, scopes, timelines, resources, etc.

Attends meetings, conferences, workshops, training sessions, and reviews publications to remain current on principles, practices, and new developmentsPerforms special duties as assignedORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of project management experience; OR an equivalent combination of experience and educationDemonstrated experience with contract administrationDemonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite and related applicationsLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Required within thirty (30) days of employment

Valid driver's licensePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certificationSeven (7) years of related experienceEMPLOYMENT TESTING
