POSITION SUMMARY:

Do you love working with details and analyzing data? Do you want to use these skills to help provide Christian educational materials from a biblical worldview for students around the world? As an Associate Data Analyst for BJU Press Business Intelligence Collaborative, you will be building reports in Power BI to present analytics which are necessary for decision-making; analyzing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales transactions and preparing reports for BJU Press departments.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Use SQL and DAX to create Microsoft Power BI which produce reports supporting decision-making.Provide quality assurance for other data analyst(s) report builds.Run queries and present the results in a format easily understood by the requestor of the data by using charts and PowerPoint.Use pivot tables and other methods of data manipulation within Excel to help with analyzing data.Maintain Power BI reportsby fixing issues as they arise, troubleshooting and solving problems.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Ability to analyze data and communicate the results in reportsAbility to troubleshoot and solve problemsBasic knowledge of SQL, DAX and programming languagesMath/accounting skills with accuracyDetail-orientedAbility to use initiative and work collaborativelyBasic knowledge of SQL and DAX programming languages
