We are seeking a

Business Development Associate

to join our high-growth, fast-paced home service support and partnership organization. This candidate will play a critical role in generating leads and building a pipeline of potential partnership opportunities for our growing portfolio company,

Primary Job ResponsibilitiesGenerate leads through cold and warm calling effortsBuild deep pipeline of future acquisition opportunitiesOutbound prospect qualification and company researchManage and maintain prospect database ensuring accuracy and integrityWork closely with business development team to progress leads through the deal cycleAssist in marketing campaignsSchedule travel and create trip plan for senior members of the BD teamAssist in additional administrative tasks as neededBe a team player in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environmentRequirements

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development rolesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with business ownersSelf-motivated and target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamResults-oriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsProficiency in using CRM systems and sales productivity toolsStrong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple prospects and tasks simultaneouslyAdaptability and willingness to learn about new industries, products, or servicesKnowledge of market research techniques and industry analysis is a plusLocal to the Chicago, IL area/willing to relocateAbility to commute to the Downtown Chicago area 5 days /weekCompensation

Base salary of $55,000 plus uncapped commission potential with OTE of around $75-85K
