A bit about us:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Payroll Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, employee benefits, and HRIS systems. You will be responsible for managing all payroll-related tasks for our organization, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.

Responsibilities:
- Administer and process all aspects of payroll using ADP Enterprise Payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and garnishments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Coordinate with HR department to ensure correct employee benefits, 401K, and FMLA administration.
- Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production.
- Generate accurate reports for upper management and auditors.
- Handle employee relations concerning payroll, answering any questions or concerns with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Stay abreast of the latest payroll and tax changes, ensuring the company is in compliance with all regulations.
- Assist in implementing payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll position, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in ADP Enterprise Payroll and HRIS systems.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
- Strong understanding of multi-state payroll and tax regulations.
- Experience in administering benefits and 401K plans.
- Familiarity with FMLA and other employee benefit laws and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
