We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Payroll Associate for our rapidly growing finance team. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative company, with a bold and exciting mission. The Consulting Payroll Associate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for our company. This includes ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and providing payroll-related support to our employees. The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of payroll systems, specifically ADP Enterprise Payroll and ADP Workforce, and a strong foundation in compensation and 401K management.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, reconciliation, auditing, and reporting.
  2. Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
  3. Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
  4. Compute employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
  5. Answer staff queries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.
  6. Handle changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles.
  7. Prepare and produce reports on payroll activities and statistics.
  8. Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  9. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current tax and legal requirements related to payroll to ensure company compliance.
  10. Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing.
  11. Provide support to employees and management through effective communication and customer service.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration.
  3. Proficiency in ADP Enterprise Payroll and ADP Workforce is required.
  4. Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, and 401K management.
  5. Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
  6. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  7. Strong work ethic and team player.
  8. High degree of professionalism.
  9. Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
  10. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
  11. Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
  12. Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  13. Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  14. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
