What You’ll Do

The Vice President of Digital Services is the executive responsible for leading digital strategy and transformation initiatives across the organization. This role aims to leverage digital technologies to enhance customer experience, drive operational efficiency, and create new business opportunities. The VP of Digital Services will oversee developing and implementing digital products, services, and solutions, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives. Identify opportunities for digital innovation and collaborate with senior leadership to integrate digital initiatives across business functions.

Product and Service Development : Oversee the lifecycle of digital products and services, ensuring high-quality delivery using agile methodologies. Lead cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Customer Experience : Enhance the customer journey with user-centric design and data analytics. Utilize digital channels to boost customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty. Continuously refine offerings based on customer feedback.

Technology and Innovation : Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Foster a culture of innovation and manage the digital services budget to allocate resources efficiently.

Data and Analytics : Promote data-driven decision-making and implement advanced analytics tools. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations.

Team Leadership : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team. Provide coaching and professional development, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Practice Development : Define and systematize the company’s approach to delivering digital services. Streamline hiring processes and integrate practices for consistency and quality.

Collaboration and Partnerships : Partner with IronArch executives and project managers to manage technical professionals and unify the delivery approach. Support growth and delivery activities.

Growth and Marketing : Lead growth efforts through subject matter expertise in various forums. Empower team contributions to marketing and growth initiatives.

Executive Leadership : Provide career development and performance feedback. Represent practices in Senior Leadership meetings and report on initiatives to Executive Leadership, offering proactive solutions to challenges.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital strategy, digital product development, or related fields.

Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and delivering successful digital products and services.

Strong understanding of current digital technologies, platforms, and industry best practices.

Experience with the Digital Services Coalition or 18F preferred.

Skilled in advanced technical solutions such as SaaS tools, low code/no-code, cloud, serverless, open source, containers, and automation.

Expertise in linking strategy with execution, including effort estimates and justifications.

Open to diverse perspectives and able to integrate them to improve products.

Strong knowledge of Agile, HCD, and DevSecOps cultures and practices, with a bonus for familiarity with the Digital Services Playbook.

Knowledgeable in programming and design techniques, including object-oriented and functional programming, API design, and database design.

Understand human-centered design and product management.

Effective in cross-functional team collaboration to achieve goals and motivate action.

Experienced in various engineering fields with comprehensive knowledge in related areas.

Proven track record in responding to complex Federal IT proposals, including Defense and Health sectors, focusing on digital services.

Skilled in critical thinking throughout proposal processes, from understanding RFPs to conceptualizing responses.

Ability to transform expert insights into straightforward, persuasive content.

Creative in using graphics to illustrate solution concepts and benefits.

Demonstrated ability to write and manage proposal sections like technical approaches and management plans.

Familiarity with various acquisition methods, including Tech Challenges and Demos.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Finance & Regulatory, Healthcare, and Government industries.

Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google, and other open-source modern programming languages.

Experience with customer experience design and user interface/user experience (UI/UX/CX) principles.
