Job Overview:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Leo Roofing and Construction, ensuring that our projects run efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives, optimize operational processes, and drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the company, including project management, resource allocation, and logistics.
Ensure the efficient execution of roofing and construction projects, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to define and execute the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
Identify and pursue opportunities for growth, expansion, and innovation in the roofing and construction sectors.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive financial performance and operational improvements.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Implement training programs and professional development initiatives to enhance team skills and performance.
Customer and Stakeholder Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout all phases of projects.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Promote a safety-first culture and address any safety concerns or issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience as a COO or in a similar executive role within the roofing or construction industry.
Strong understanding of operational and financial management principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and achieve business goals.
