This is an anticipated vacancy. This position is expected to become vacant on 10/01/2024.

DIT Voice Engineering & Operations provides for the planning, design, procurement, implementation and management of the voice telecommunication resources for the agencies of North Carolina State Government. In addition, this organization also provides the same resources and capabilities to support schools, local governments, and higher education, as those institutions require. The

Network Analyst I

is responsible for "service support" of the state's Enterprise Next Generation IP Telephony and Contact Center Services.

Duties include, but are not limited, to:

Successful execution of daily operating functions associated with availability managementRelease management, capacity management, configuration management, incident management, problem management, and Service Level management for the following technologies and others as added: IP Telephony Call Processing; Skills based routing (ACD functionality); Computer Telephony Integration (CTI); Voice Mail/Unified Messaging; End User Access Devices; Access to the Public Switched Telephone Network; IVR Administration and WebexCommunicate on a regularly scheduled basis with agency contacts to ensure the system is meeting agreed upon service level parametersThe position requires 24×7 "on call" status in order to respond to system troubles and meet DIT service level agreement obligations.
