Its employees consistently rank Moss as one of the best places to work.POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACTMoss' HR Communications Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with Moss' vision and goals. This position involves a unique blend of HR expertise and strategic communication, focusing on internal communications that support people initiatives, change management, and organizational objectives. As part of the national Strategy, Marketing, and Communications team, you will work closely with various departments and leadership to deliver messages that support HR strategies and company values.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute communication strategies supporting HR initiatives, such as talent management, employee engagement, learning and development, and organizational changes
Organize and manage internal events and initiatives that promote company values and enhance employee morale
Collaborate with HR leadership and other departments to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all HR communications
Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR communications efforts and gather employee feedback
Use data-driven insights to continuously improve HR communication strategies and tactics
Lead change management communications to support major HR initiatives, such as onboarding, performance management, and benefits updates
Create content for internal announcements, intranet updates, and other communication channels
Prepare compelling presentations for HR and company leadership (compose content, create slide graphics, curate photos, validate data, write speaker notes)
Channel the Moss brand voice-ghostwrite executive communications that achieve operational priorities
Embrace opportunities to integrate new technologies, such as AI, to enhance communication methods
Assist in the hiring, training, and development of communications staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Communications, Human Resources, or a related field
7+ years of experience in HR or communications, with expertise in change management and internal communications
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with a focus on HR-related topics
Proven track record in developing communication strategies that drive engagement and organizational alignment
Experience with communication tools and platforms, including intranet systems, email marketing software, and content management systems
Proficiency in meeting planning and PowerPoint presentation development
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, balancing long-term vision with current priorities
