Position can be based onsite 3 days in Fridley, MN

This role is a member of the Global R&D Center of Expertise, which is responsible for driving efficiencies in the R&D Finance space. As a member of the COE, this role will help deliver on Finance objectives by collaborating with OU finance business partners and region/functional finance teams to standardize reporting, optimize resources and develop operational efficiencies.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Assist with identifying month-end financial reporting efficiencies through migrating to Power BI

Partner with CAS R&D leaders in the delivery of and interpretation of month-end results with variance analysis

Identify and assist in the development of training requirements and supporting documentation

Prepare presentation materials

Imagine new possibilities and creative solutions that drive improved effectiveness and efficiency

Define and document baseline performance metrics and KPIs

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of work experience in Finance or Accounting

Nice to Have

High energy, results-orientated individual with good analytical and problem-solving skills

Progressive, innovative mind-set with ability to recognize improvement opportunities and ideate the future

Proven ability to interface in team environment with various levels of management, staff, and other functional areas

Strong business acumen – Ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business questions; Can operate with a degree of ambiguity and make informed assumptions to fill gaps in data

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with interests in building strong relationships

Executive presence – Capable of being both a process expert and interacting with senior leadership (e.g. Finance Executive Committee, Business Leadership)

Must be highly motivated and able to work independently, capable of handling multiple requests and deadlines simultaneously

Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities and responsibilities in a dynamic and changing environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including group facilitation experience

Green, Yellow, Black or Master Black Belt certification

Bachelor’s or master’s degree with emphasis in Finance or Accounting

MBA or CPA

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $83,200.00-$124,800.00
