Jardim Meisner Salmon Sprague & Susser, P.C., is seeking an associate to be a part of our government representation and civil litigation practice groups. Qualified candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in government representation, complex commercial cases, insurance defense, and/or other general civil litigation. We are looking for someone with experience litigating cases from start to finish, including experience drafting pleadings, written discovery, taking/defending depositions, and drafting motions, and conducting oral arguments. We would love someone who has actual trial experience, either as first or second chair, although this is not required. Property tax appeal experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be members in good standing of the New Jersey Bar.Responsibilities:

Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action.Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs.Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings.Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs.Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis.Qualifications:

Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required.Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed.Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must.Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.In good standing with the NJ State Bar.At least 3-5 years of litigation experience.Compensation:

$110,000 - $130,000
