This is your opportunity to be part of our dynamic team and help shape the future of affordable housing!Position Overview:The Operations Training Manager is responsible for onboarding new hires and training across the operations team, with a deep focus on property management site staff. In this role, you will identify and assess training needs, create tailored training plans, and implement various training methods to enhance employees' skills and performance as well as monitor the training program's effectiveness and stay updated on training trends.Work Schedule:

Hybrid, 4 days onsite. Monday – Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. The final schedule is to be determined by the supervisor.Your Impact:Staff Training & SupportConduct onboarding training for all frontline operations team new hires, with an in-depth focus on property management staff, and coordinating cross-departmental training as required.Facilitate ongoing training and support for new hires and existing staff, utilizing various tools and resources.Design, plan, and implement training programs to improve employee skills and productivity.Assess the skills, performance, and productivity of employees to identify training needs.Review staff training budgets, assisting leaders in identifying skills development training for staff.Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and instructors.Continuously review and select materials, ensuring programs are updated, current, and relevant.Teach instructors and supervisors various training methods and skills to properly guide their teams.Manage the daily activities of Property Management Specialists and external training instructors.Oversee the mentorship programs for Property Management and Facilities.Lead department-wide training (PMTC), coordinating agendas with both internal and external trainings.Stay up to date on industry changes to NSpire and Fair Housing, proactively sharing that information with the operations team while assisting with updating the OM with any necessary changes.Partner with Directors to develop business plans for staff support and training at buildings that are not performing.Performance ManagementConduct regular 1:1s, including performance evaluations and development conversations with direct reports.Develop surveys and gather feedback from staff on training.Review and analyze mystery shop reports and develop strategic training plans for site teams based on those reports.Maintain department onboarding and Training Hub SharePoint page, ensuring resources are up to date and relevant.AdministrativeCo-lead the Operations Manual Workgroup responsible for reviewing, updating, and revising chapters of the Operations Manual.Assist in maintaining and updating the online Operations Manual for the PM Department.Participate in the site team hiring process upon request.Assist with portfolio coverage in the absence of a Regional Manager.Uphold Bellwether ValuesWork collaboratively with supervisor, sharing information and updates on challenges and seeking input and direction.Foster a culture of accountability, belonging, and collaboration with colleagues at all times.Embody Bellwether's values of respect, integrity, community, and excellence in your work.RequirementsWho You Are:Minimum of five years experience as a Property Manager or Regional Manager in affordable housing properties.Experience directly supervising a team - providing consistent feedback, coaching, and fostering career development.Demonstrated ability to utilize technology-based systems including property management, CRM, and marketing software. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.Experience with Yardi Voyager and RentCafe is preferred.Experience developing and implementing training programs.Knowledge of various training methods including coaching, workshops, classroom training, mentoring, and e-learning programs.Ability to track the performance of training programs, write reports, and recommend strategies for improvement.Outstanding IT and leadership skills.Strong organization, planning, and time management skills.Attention to detail and critical thinking skills.Exceptional customer service aptitude, including problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly and tactfully to requests.Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with internal teams and external partners.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Entrepreneurial mindset, taking personal initiative in tasks, and proven ability to work independently and ensure all work is completed timely and of high quality.Conversant in local, state, and federal fair housing and landlord/tenant laws.Desired QualificationsCertificate in Training and Facilitation, or equivalent.Experience developing and writing policies and procedures.Experience creating training videos using editing applications.Knowledge of HUD Section 8, 202/8, and/or PRAC 811 properties.Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Spectrum Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P) or equivalent certifications.Experience networking with community partners.Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro software.Familiarity with the Seattle Housing Authority Project and Tenant Based voucher programs.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or experience preferred.What We Offer:
