The

Manager - Warehouse Ops

is responsible for the leadership and management of the warehouse according to the strategic and financial direction set by the Regional Manager of Warehouse Operations. This position also develops and implements strategies, policies and quality practices to ensure warehouse effectiveness in alignment with the client and employee experience while working with various discipline managers and directors.

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

Promote and maintain a culture of safety throughout the organization. Ensure safety policy compliance and that safety inspection, training and audits are conducted on a scheduled basis.

Oversee, plan, manage, measure and improve daily cost-effective and efficient warehouse operations.

Improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organization’s mission.

Administer overall inventory management, productivity, accuracy and loss prevention to ensure business and client objectives are met.

Maintain harmonious and effective relations with employees, internal and external clients.

Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational and quality excellence.

Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.

Partner with Human Resources in recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning personnel, coaching and counseling, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Ensure show readiness and timely delivery and return of projects.

Develop and implement training of warehouse employees, including Forklift and Safety, discipline-specific task mastery, quality control and management, career progressions and career paths.

Develop and maintain staff advancement and quality assurance programs for operational improvement.

Resolve conflicts, complete audits and identify needs for operations.

Promote a “focus on the problem, not the person” approach to system failures.

Ensure accurate control and count of company assets and inventory.

Prepare and facilitate annual physical inventory and monthly cycle counts.

Oversee proper warehouse maintenance, housekeeping and safekeeping.

Ensure all orders are returned swiftly and follow up on all missing items.

Ensure staff and vehicle fleet compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.

Maintain all warehouse tools and resources (e.g., forklifts, fleet, etc.).

Work with the National Manager of Warehouse Operations to develop new quality control and operations procedures practices.

Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.

Base Salary Range:

$66,161.42/yr - $98,046.44/yr. This represents the low and high end of the company's base salary range for this position. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
